Giving Back

debi believes strongly in giving back and being of service.  To that end, she has served as President of the Orland Park Chamber of Commerce where she was also Chairwoman of the Ambassadors Committee and awarded Member of the Year.

Joining Orland Park Rotary in 2005, debi has held a number of positions from Secretary to Treasurer to President and eventually lead her District as Governor from 2019 to 2020.  While a Rotarian, debi was awarded District President of the Year, District Membership Chairwoman, twice Rotarian of the Year and founded both the EarlyAct program at Century Jr. High School and the InterAct program at Carl Sandburg High School.  In 2023 debi participated in the decorating of the float Rotary International presented in the Tournament of Roses Parade and today is an Ambassador for the Rotary Float and serves on the Rotary Rose Parade Float Committee. 

Worshiping at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Orland Park, debi has served on the Helping Hands Committee, led the Human Concerns Commission, served on the Parish Council and is currently the Chairwoman of the Art and Environment Committee.   In 2010 she created the Catholic Charities at St. Francis Committee that continues to serve the needs of children and families in the Southwest Suburbs. 

Since July of 2020, debi has served as the Corporate Board Chairperson of the James R. Jordan Foundation.
